MBA club launch – the beginning of an association for all MBA candidates at emlyon business school
The evening of 13th December was filled with excitement and happiness of emlyon business school staff, professors and MBA students for the launch of MBA club. After more than 40 years of MBA program, emlyon business school now has its own MBA club for the first time.
Director of Pedagogy for the MBA Programs – Stéphanie Ousaci gave a speech on behalf of emlyon business school
The launch was taken place in Amphi Calori conference room, Building B. It opened with the welcoming words of the club’s president – Quentin ANKRI who is a current International MBA candidate, followed by the speech from Stéphanie OUSACI – Director of Pedagogy for the MBA Programs . Quentin later presented to all attendants the purposes and goals of the club and the board members who had worked together during the last few months to make the club idea happened. As per the president, the club will bring tremendous added value to the school MBA program and its participants by:
- Providing members with top executive level workshops and global events
- Tightening relationship between different MBAs programs: Executive and International MBA
- Broadening members’ professional networks with outside experts and professionals
- Bridging the gap between emlyon and other business schools such as: Cambridge, INSEAD, HEC, etc.
- Being one of the fun and exciting places for its members to gather and befriend

The launch finished with a lot of warm and interesting conversations between school representatives, International MBA and Executive MBA candidates around cocktail session. It promised a start of many exciting activities next year waiting for its members to come back and discover after the school holiday.
